First rollout this past weekend. I dropped off the grill and trinkets off for chrome today, can't wait to get it all together once and for all.

I somehow missed this thread all this time, and just went through the whole thing.
If you're still interested they are Lincoln Zephyr tail lights.

    ^^^ WOW!
Does either car have a body ID tag?
I've been researching 36 convertible sedan body ID tags for many years in an effort to determine how many of the 5,601 produced were slantbacks and how many were trunk models. Highest slantback body tag is 2324 thus far.
    Thanks for your help.
    Al
PS I just got a phaeton but the tag was missing.:(

Here is a project that I have been working on. Thinking about letting it go to a new home.

Spring is here and time to share a few more 36s.
    What's in your garage?

  19. Just now found this thread after picking up a real solid and complete (but dis-assembled) 5 window body a couple months ago. Just trying to get some ideas before I get started building it. It may be a couple years since I have two father/son projects in front of it right now, but I figure it is never too early to start building it in my head and collecting parts. Thanks for all the inspiration.
