Is it possible to install a solenoid release for the trunk & still have the key lock work?
I'd like to do just that if it's possible? I know most delete the external lock, but I just want the ease of pushing a ****on and still have the regular key lock operate the release.
    Thanks

No problem the factories have been doing it for years.

If you get on ebay, search for electric trunk solenoids or latches. There are tons out there. Cheap too.

Check out any big luxury car at a u- pull yard. And get the ****on for it usually found in the glove box. And since you're working on the trunk lid look at Cads and Lincolns that have trunk latches that self close and just it case it ever happens at the same time grab the safety truck release handle. Kids have known to close trunks on themselves.

Thanks guys, but when I lock women in the trunk, I don't want them to escape.
