Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by youngster_'52, Mar 24, 2006.

  1. I know its kinda stupid to ask but whats the difference between a '30 A and A '31 A? I got me a 2d sedan and the seller didn't really know what it was![IMG]

Given the leaf spring mounts fore and aft I'd say Chevrolet.

  13. I think it didn't say anything on it. I guess what you see is just the hole where that hand cranking rod goes through

That's no Chevy, too much steel in there! Probably some Mopar or orphan brand. Or if it's in Germany like you are, it may even be German. (whodathunk?)

  20. I bought that body in VA from my neighboor and now it sits my yard. (in the US)

Here's a quicky Photoshop of what I'd probably do if I had that. Sorry for the sloppiness. You've got yourself a sweet car there. Looks like it's pretty solid.

If you found it in Germany, how bout it being a Merc Benz? Do some research in the cl***ic car scene/market-see most hotrodders list of manufactuers dosent go much past Ford,Chev,Mopar. Good luck finding what it is. And if its rare and expensive chop it up lots make a cool hotrod out of it then it will be even more rare-the only hotrodded one in the world:D

  29. Chrysler, Plymouth, Hudson, but the rear window is too rectangular for a chrysler product I think.
