'27 Ford Roadster with '29 fenders and a Deuce grille, wall to wall rear rubber and the baddest all aluminum BBC with a Blower all under the hood top and outside headers
    or
Track style '27 Ford Roadster, no fenders and Deuce grille. This one would have a Bored and Stroked Mercruiser 4 cylinder with a Kaase Shotgun head and exhaust over the rear wheel.

Pretty sure either one would have a Quickchange

A stocker looking black on black 55 Chevy with original looking wheels but with slightly more tire riding on a full TCI ch***is powered by a cammed LS with a 6 speed automatic. The ultimate driver.

I think this gets "Heinz 57" award. If you ever figure it out, I want a ride!

  8. As a teenager, I lusted after T buckets.
As I grew older, still loved buckets, but wanted an unchopped T Coupe.
    Then it was a 27 T Roadster, on 32 ch***is.
After I brought my old Model A Colonial Pickup, I decided I needed an A Roadster Pickup, but ended up buying my 29 Hudson Pickup, with the idea of rebuilding it to sell, so I could get the Model A RPU.

The Hudson turned out to be too much fun, and I love that's it's not a Ford or Chev.
So I'm keeping it for now, the A RPU is still in my dream list, but I'm picking I'm stuck with the Hudson, and I'm ok with that.
After all, who the hell wants a Hudson?

Edit: I've also had a hankering for a four door 32 Ford Sedan for the last few years, probably due to the kid. Kinda a family friendly thing.

I would build a street legal version of this Coupe

    The Loaded Toad.jpg

Then build this trailer to tow the Coupe on ....

    trailer.jpg

Then build this '62 Crew Cab to tow with ...

    1962_carrillo_1asm.jpg

Then me and my lovely wife would drive around the country and drag race it at old little back-woods drag strips on Saturday nights and then drive it on the 2 lane blacktops and go see what ever we wanted.
Money would be spent on gas, tires, food and motels.

    I'm still hopeful !

As a kid in the sixties, I lusted after the cl***ic T-buckets of the era, like Chuck Penrys, Ted Browns, **** Knutsons, Dennis Debenidictus and Gary Rickels. And I am rapidly piling up the parts to realise that 45 yr old vision.

  21. I also like big old trucks, my main criteria when searching for my dream build was it had to be big, old, oddball and COE. I think a '47 Autocar fills the bill nicely.

I'm building my dream car now! I wanted a '36 3W Ford coupe ever since I was 14 years old, but work, kids, college, etc. kept it just out of reach. I'm 70 now and I traded my '55 Buick for it 5 years ago. Been building it since then. The dream never dies !

Easy: '33 3w coupe with mild chop; full fendered; black/black/black; 5-spoke Americans; with the most horsepower I could cram under a full hood; 4-sp. About 7" wide rear tires and 5" fronts.

Alternative could be a high dollar 5 or 6 speed but since I know absolutely nothing about them I'd have to study & learn to be able to decide.

That's cool man! Can't remember ''ever'' seeing a 47' Autocar Cabover on the road....that should fit the bill of ''big, old, oddball'' quite nicely. It would sure draw some attention when finished and on the road....I am in awe of your ''vision'' with your build....it's good stuff;)

goodguys, final reassembly 044.JPG In 1957, Ford had the 70A Custom (mine), 70BCustom 300, and 70D Business sedan. Rumors have it the missing 70C was to be a Custom Convertible....the missing link between the longer Fairlane Convertibles and the T-Bird. So, if I had another build in me and I won your lottery it would be a contemporary Custom 300 soft top powered by a 427sohc . Sure would like to see a photoshop. You did a ghost flame job for me on mine while back, Moose.
AS long as we're dreaming....Interior would have to be like in this flawless 59 Buick at the Lonestar Goodguys
