Hello Studebaker guys. I have what look to be a 30s something President grill. And some later 50s something President hood trim with a Lucite lens and emblem at the front end. Maybe someone could tell me what they are for sure? Thanks.

Hood strip is '55. If it's quite long, it's from a speedster. Get me a length & I'll tell you if it's from a std pres, or the speedster.
WAG on the grill shell = 32, or maybe 33. For sure earlier than 35, & earlier than 34 - I think.
Don't have my reference books handy at the moment.

Marcus, thanks for the info. I'll get a length on the hood trim. I don't think it is very long. I have three of them and they're all in amazing condition. The thing about the grill shell, is it doesn't look to have been chromed? Could it be a painted shell?

Umm, not positive, but while I have a 55, I've never seen that part on any...55 Studebaker.
    I'm thinking earlier than 53...

The hood ornament is definitely a 55 piece. I have the long one on my speedster.
