Been a bit under the weather lately, but finally got the 68 model Ford 200 six installed in my 61 Comet. Wondering about the best way to set up my carb to pedal linkage. Engine is backed by a C4 auto trans.
Any tips and photos are greatly appreciated!

Depends on which adapter you have. I use the cl***ic inlines unit that lines the throttle arm up with the stock stuff, and just make a rod out of 3/16" stock and a couple of heim ends.

Hi. I installed two of those on a Clifford intake my 235 Chevy inline. What I ran into is that the stock carb & manifold had a linkage from the carb going straight down behind manifolds to the bell crank on drivers side of block and accelerator linkage hooked to other side of the bell crank & when engine was depressed it pushed top arm of bell crank forward & other bell crank arm pulled carb linkage down.
The new setup required that the carb linkage be pulled to the rear on opposite side of the head from the accelerator pedal linkage & engine bell crank. What I used was a Lokar cable setup from the back carb around back of engine & down to the bell crank. I had to slightly modify & reverse the bell crank to make this work. My car is not here right now so I cannot take any better well lit photo's of this. It is in a nearby town having some rewiring done for now & that is about turning into a forever job at the shop.

    Good luck, Jimmie
