alright i finally got some money together to buy some wide whites for the Hud, it needed them so bad! i also ditched the lake pipes in favor of some gl*** packs straight out the back, huge improvement i think.
Got any before pics? Car looks great. It looks like someone's photoshop exercise come to life. Hard to believe it's really that low and that chopped.
almost embarresed to show this one now the color just doesnt do the lines justice, ive been trying to figure out what color to go with, but we all know thats the hardest decision to make. probably a satin blue, or satin gold with black scallops, maybe even shiney
Thats awsome, I'd love to get a hudson with the twin carbs, 4 d00r mean chop and slamed with skirts.... sorry, daydreaming again, gotta lay off the vicodin the doc gave me
There is a satin gold one here in Watsonville. It was in Paso Robles last year and Im sure it will be there again this year.
Yo Tet****, That is one *****in' Hudson. My son has a '47 Commodore 4 door that he wants to customize. Could i get a little info from ya (well actually alot)? pm me if it's ok, don't want to bug ya if not. Thanks, David
Dude, even the gas-filler door is cool on that thing! I love the lines and the wide-whites and caps take it up a notch. Cl***y.
thanks, i like it. any photo choppers out the want to put that color on my car with some black scallops? and maybe gold with the bottom half black using the body line as a boarder?
i was looking for pics of hudsons and saw this ancient post... did you know that car used to be both blue and than at a different time with scallops? i bet if you email the guy in boise who built it he will send you pics... i have been looking for pics i have of it somewhere but i can't find them... if they turn up i'll send them of it when it had gold scallops and wide whites without lakers.
are you sure your talking about the same car? it used to be bronze and white and i have not seen any evidence of the colors you are talking about
tet****... if i am remembering after it was blue, it went to scallops with gold and then matt stripped it down to bare metal and drove it around bare for a while, then it went black then back to gray and white, and then to black and white and then the gun metal it is now.
The chop on your Hudson is the best I have ever seen. Just perfect. And the change to wide whites and ditching the lakes pipes is a tremendous improvement. I just love this car. I can see it in either a deep deep purple, or an equally deep emerald green. Just my "druthers, you know. PS, Do you know who chopped the windshield and how was it done? John, aka "oldandkrusty"
The new caps and rubber really compliment the other mods, looks more ellegant now. Ditching the pipes was a good idea too if you ask me. It's perfect now!
