Does anyone have the old speedway kit for gm discs on '53 chevy spindles? I have an old kit and the bearings won't fit on the spindles. Is machining required or do I have the wrong bearings? If so, does anyone have a part number for the bearings? I emailed speedway, but they won't answer my questions.

As I recall, that kit required the spindles to be machined.

If that's the case, does ECI sell just the spacers and bearings?

A customer brought in a speedway kit that you have for us to intall. We took a look at it and ordered a different kit from another supplier. The new kit came with an interferance adaptor, 11" gm brakes and did not require machining.
The way the speedway kit needs to be machined and welded on did not appeal to us. The whole kit seemed like it was made up of afterthoughts and speedway was unable to answer our questions on it.

I'll check on where we got the other adaptor kit this weekend.

I bought the speedway spindles, they are new and don't need machined. However the bearing didn't fit so I called them and they told me to sand the spindle down to get them to fit which worked but didn't seem right.
