Bolt-on DOHC hemispherical combustion chamber aluminum heads, with twin plugs are where it is at.

If that had individual hard lines, going back to a fuel block, and did not say "Coyote" on the valve covers, I'd wager that there would only be a handful of onlookers who could properly identify it.

Lol Ya if only it was that easy.

  4. Yeah, it's pretty tight.
When looking at the entire car as a hole, those are the type of the details that slip right by.
You need to study the car for longer or Focus/frame attention on the engine and only the engine for them to show up promenently. I get why they put coyote right smack dab in the middle too. Hidden in plain sight- a bit like we aren't fooling you, you fooled yourself.

Starting with the truck/van 5.0 engine vs 5.0 mustang engine would save over 1/2 the cost.

  5. Designing and manufacturing the bolt on heads would probably as much work as redesigning the rockers and cam carriers in the valve covers. Struggling for 300 Hp from 289 cubic inches doesn't seem like a worthy goal. I get the under dog at***ude but the driving force of ambition is to accomplish more while doing/spending less or doing less and getting more rather doing more to get just a little.

    Don't they have streetable pump gas 400hp 302 ?
