My wagon has always been a part of my family and I learned how to drive in it,even when it sat in the barn for almost 30 years and then the 9 years it took Danny & our friend Dave to restore & finish the car.

This was a long awaited dream come true and I couldn't be happier.

  4. As a long time Willys guy I couldn't imagine anything but a dream car Willys. However the one I would want is so impractical for my part of the country. I'll try and put a few pics of my dream willys. A friend of mine has one, but I am getting too old to start another project. Here's my dream Willys...I would take any of these, even though we don't have many roadster days in MN/WI. (and yes the one with the smokin' tires is a Willys, just a tad older than the rest)...g-willys

After attending too many buddy's funerals, I wondered if they had gotten the car at the top of their "list". Everybody has one, even if they don't actually write one down on paper. Then I wondered how much longer I would live.....and immediately started out looking for a 33 ford coupe for myself.
Got this old POS 34, 5 window stock car racer.....incomplete and beat to death.
After 8 years it has started to look like I envisioned....loosely built in the cop-shop-coupe style.
When I finish it, I want a custom 57 Pontiac and a cool, IHC flatbed gravel-road parts runner.

Although my Deuce sedan was/is my dream car I have achieved that dream.

My next dream car is a 1932 Ford Roadster similar to this. HRP

This was sitting outside a garage about 20 minutes from my house 2 years ago- had to turn around and get a picture. They're STILL out there! ( even in New England where old cars "melt" from the winter salt) 9-24-12 (7).JPG

I have been pretty luck with dream cars but the next build I think is one of my ultimate ones. I have always loved the early Lotus 7 sports cars. I have wanted to put a bad*** small block V8 in one for a long time. Since Dad totaled his very traditional 27 Ford Roadster Pickup and I bought what was left back from the Insurance Company the wheels have been turning. I want to build a track style "T" out of it. Low slung proportioned close to Lotus 7. Stupid fast and handle like it is on rails but with out loosing the "Hot Rod" feel....I can't wait!

First is garage, second is work. I am a lucky soul who is in charge of a place where I can keep all my blown apart car stuff.

The 32 roadster with early Americans since I grew up in Socal. Probably never get a B400. Although that would be another dream come true.

Model Y roadster with tubbed one piece body and GM 3L with turbocharger and TH350. Very light and with enough boost could hit 12s.[IMG]

I'd like to build a street racer from an ugly old Porsche 914 with a stroker small block Chevy hidden under the deck.....

............... My 32, sold it after buying a 51 Mercury, the 32 sat, wife occasionally took it to a cruise, it just sat for 2 years, Now I have seller's remorse, The 32 Ford was/is the HOT ROD of my dreams since seeing the McMillen Roadster in Hot Rod magazine in 1966. My other dream car is a 57 Chevy, my first car at 16 in 1964, at the moment things are on hold, but coming up, going to make some car changes

I'm building it. You guys can talk all the **** you want about it not being steel. I plan to drive it on a daily basis when complete. A steel one would never leave my garage.

A '57 Chevy has always been my dream car, and that's nearly finished. The total fantasy lotto build would be Cheetah.[IMG]
There would be a ZL1 aluninum 427, M22 and a quickchange in the tube ch***is. Plus enough street equipment to be road legal. For those quick trips to the store.
