    I had thought about posting a photo of a friends (RIP) restored award winning 39 convertable sedan but thought it might be OT for this 40 thread, then I spotted that gray one. Cool cars, I'll have to dig up a photo.

    I just drilled new holes in the bumper brackets that are about 2 inches further forward. they are spring steel so I used a carbide end mill in my Bridgeport. I did both the front and rear bumpers because I had an extra full garage one winter and needed 3 inches to get the garage door shut!!

    Supposed to get measurable snow by the end of the week. So I sardine canned the cars in the garage for the winter [​IMG]

    My '40 at Hot Rod Hillclimb 2015 & 2016.
    Number 75 in '15 & number 76 in '16.
    Flathead in 2015 & Cadillac in 2016.
    About 3000 miles each trip with a little site seeing.

    I went to the Jalopy Journal world headquarters and they were working on a cool 40 coupe. I thought I took pics of it but I didn't :(
