You know looking at all the old racers there was quite a bit of innies, outies, backwards and what we normally see. Perhaps there is an interesting story behind them (little pages like...). I'm sure this stuff has been talked about, debated forever and in many cases put through the wind tunnel. Do I see a banger in there? Do the reverse louvers create audible sounds that you have heard?

Yup, the original banger. Never ran it with the hood, ran it 3 years original gaining much fun. Decided finally to go traditional hot rod but keep the banger (strong runner) rather than a flathead. This is not going to be a salt car so the direction/ wind tunnel test is a non issue, just hope I can back up quicker at the party store when I get my cold beverages.

Question Gary. I am somewhat green on Aussie RHD/LHD. Was your car brought over through recent transaction or was it a wartime thing or? Just curious. I guess it takes a little getting used to especially transitioning over from your other vehicles or just plain driving it staring curbside rather than center lane. I sometimes find myself control challenged between my to dailys and the Hotrod. Cheers Mate...;)

  15. Stogy, this coupe was imported from the states as LHD, I am leaving it LHD as well as I like it that way. It is a challenge to drive especially considering all of my daily drivers are RHD as well as my other HotRod being a 'A' model roadster is RHD as well but I find the LHD adds to the fun when driving it.
