Hot Rods Hilton Hot Rods 29 Sedan Make Over

This beautiful 29 sedan is owned by a very good friend of mine in Pittsburgh.
Currently going thru a major make over at Hilton Hot Rods. This pic was before roof and upholstery were done. Will be on display at Detroit Autorama 2017

Nice going to be sweet

 

I had a good look at it earlier this week, its a sweetie. They did a great job on the roof filler & fabric. Bobby has a way of doing things simple, makes it look so easy it is deceptive. Your friends are very lucky.

 

Thanks, I will let him know. He has not seen his car in awhile. I'm very sure he will be very much satisfied with the outcome....

 

Those guys perform some remarkable magic over there in The Plains.

 

New color looks great, hairpin, instead of four bars, and new wheels, I can't wait to see more.

Actually, it is just Bobby. Hard to believe but he does it by himself. Tyler (his son) will lend a hand when he's in town but Bobby has a way of doing things and prefers to work alone. He has some trusted subcontractors to do paint & some body work or the upholstery, engine, that kind of thing but other than that Bobby does it all. Drive past his 'shop' at 10PM on a Sunday night and the lights will be on.

 

Another look at the sedan before power plant install.. Lookin GOOD !!

Looks good , I`ve been wanting to see what he can do with a sedan..
