sending unit question

    hey guys, im working on a '50 chevy truck and got to tinkering with the gauges today, there are two wires going into the gas gauge and two wires leaving the tank, one is grounded, do any of yall know how this is supposed to be wired? am i going to run into problems if my truck is on a 12 volt system? -joe-

    You have to get a gas guage voltage reducer to run 12 volt. They are like 6 bucks from Chevy Duty. You will burn your guage up without it in no time flat.
