Sigh, I'm afraid I've bitten off more than I can chew, project wise. The Riv I thought I'd have done, but when I started it, I wasn't planning on selling our '48 Pontiac convert, and buying another frame up project. It's setting on rolling castors in the middle of the shop, the 5.3 Vortec and 4L60 are bolted in, Air-Ride suspension done, front frame, suspension and firewall painted. Floor pans replaced, painted, and dyna-mat (well, the cheapskate, Home Depot roof seal substitute) insulated. I've got the Southern Air in dash A/C heat combo in, compressor on the engine, it's tantalizingly close to being a car. On a positive note, I did stop using it as a storage shelf for '34 parts! I'm rapidly approaching retirement, and I guess the Riviera is going to be a retirement project, along with my Chris Craft refurbish, and it seems, finally getting the T'bird painted.
Lol, looking at the Riviera photo, it almost looks photoshopped, but it's not, that's it setting in the shop as-is.
Ahh,the joys of too many projects, not! I myself have this problem and it's driving me crazy, nuts that is. I have a '56 Ford pickup truck that's done and a '49 Lincoln coupe which is waiting for a restoration. I admit I should've sold the car before this but I've hit a stumbling block or two along the way. But I still plan to sell it and use the money to further work on the truck.
