1952-59 Ford mistakes sometimes turn out nice

    I was adding ATF to my (I hate to mention this) Chevy truck. Spilled a bit of it onto the plastic grill. Well, it took off all of the faded gray paint and left a nice black grill & bumper after just a tiny bit of wiping. I think I just added a couple of hundred dollars to the truck's value.
    Just wanted to share.

    Looks good. Maybe if you wipe some on that Bowtie it will turn into a BlueOval.

    With the stock cars, we'd give the cars a quick rub of ATF before the feature so they would shine under the track lights, dents and all. Dirt drivers do that on their cars so the mud washes off after the race.
