    IMG_4710.JPG Hi everyone,

I picked up a 64 C10 fleetside LONG box a couple weeks ago and have decided to do a little build thread on the changes that will add safety features, oh yeah and there will be an engine swap at some point in the process. Also, parts that I will be getting rid of....

Cool! I'm a big fan of that body style. Good luck with the project.

I learned to drive in a 64 just like yours in 1969, I currently have a 1966 Suburban.
On the odd chance you aren't aware of it; check out the Official 60-66 Chevy C-10 truck picture thread here on the HAMB.

Nice! I've got one too that I'll probably start up building in the summer. It was my dads before mine he had it put up in a garage for about 15 years. Same year short bed ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1448660656.848834.jpg

I've ordered several "kits" from pol performance. I have to say that every kit has had missing parts lack of instructions and not all the parts to complete the job. The parts are good quality but like I said aren't complete. I probably won't order anything else from them. If any of you go with a drop suspension kit be sure to get quality shocks. I ordered separate shocks and left the kit shocks in the box.

I went from a 230 to a 250 and next will be a 292 bored .60 over with a comp cam and triple deuce side draft webers. Also, I've installed a t5 5 speed.
