Hello everyone, I would like some instructions on chopping the top of my 1940 Buick coupe. I am looking for the type of chop that leaves the front tall but lies the back down to "blend" with the curve of the trunk. I've seen some chops where people leave the rear windows in place and lean it forward by lifting the trunk lid or by other means. That is the type of chop I'm looking for but can't find the threads where I saw it being done. Any help would be appreciated and of course I plan doing a build thread. Thanks.
Here are a few picts of a 41 chevy done on the west coast. I forget the guys name but it looks great. I'd like to do this to mine but who's got $10K to spend on a chop?! And I don't have the skills for that.
Cool, I’ve been following that thread but it’s been awhile since I’ve checked in Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
