    Nice!

Wasn't the "Sidewinder" a feature in HRM? I think I remember reading/seeing the pics when I was a kid going through the stacks of my old man's collection.

Thanks to Mr. Zale for saving and submitting the great photos.

It's always interesting to see images from the past and a car club that put it's best foot forward in both image and horse power. HRP

It's articles like this that get me excited to open the front page of my Jalopy Journal while drinking my morning coffee :)

Being orginaly from Santa Ana, remeber them well. I graduated in 64 and ran around with a couple of the members, just never joined.
Cl*** bunch of guys. Have kept in touch with a few all these years. Usually see 1 or 2 old members every year when I go out to LARS.

I remember the Hunters club well. They seemed to be on the 'cutting edge' for the time period.

Hey da 34guy: I'm desperately trying to contact Al Zane for background info on a magazine story I'm doing, but no dice so far. Would you - or some of your buddies from the Hunters - be willing to school me on the Santa Ana scene? If so, please PM me ASAP, okay? Thanks in advance for any leads! Scotty Gosson/Jangleguy
