Jack rushton 41 pickup inspired kustom pickup built by torchie here in hamb. 1951 f1 big window cab chopped 4", chanelled 6" hand formed custom rockers and inner sills to replace running boards, chopped/functioning vent window frames, original steel dash complete with new Socal switches/ignition, new lomas gas pedal and cable. 46 ford steering wheel. Matches pair of Casco model J Perfection spotlights. New f1 bed sides raised to match bodylines and extended bottom to match lower cab, rear fenders moved forward 3" and narrowed 2" to match the 41 car front end. Original tailgate, Pontiac blue dot taillights, 1941 ford car front sheetmetal grafted to cab and hood modified to fit using both f1/41 car, shavedbody except door handles. Original grills in great shape. Body sitting on an original 1941 ford Tudor frame, 41 front end with drop shackles and rebuilt brakes. 1947 banjo rear end with new torque tube seals/clam shell gaskets, rebuilt brakes and all new brake lines. Drop shackles in rear but going to raise crossmember soon to lower 2". 15" ford steel rims wrapped with g78 whitewalls and capped with 54 caddy hubcaps. Powered by a 1954 olds rocket motor torn down gone through and re sealed/gasketed. New edelbrock carb and adapter. Rebuilt ignition using pertronix points eliminator. New coil, plugs, wires, cap,rotor, new aluminum radiator, hoses, new hurst motor mounts, nee mini alt, new mini high torque starter, new wilcap ****** adapter to 1950 f1 ****** 48 side shift gears, nos rocket flywheel, new clutch kit. New EZ wire harness needing finish, lights and ignition wired. This radical kustom needs finish bodywork, minor fab such as fender braces, bed flooring, needs gl***, exhaust, and some tuning. This is a one of a kind kustom based from Jack rushton's 1941 pickup built in the 50's and featured in 1958 kustomrama. This pickup was built by torchie gilewicz in Michigan and has a clear Michigan ***le. Looking to trade for something else cool or I'll just keep plugging away at this one. Pre 1964 only.
