Some of you might know Larry grobe from the Voodoo Kings car club and others might know him from the cars that he builds. He is known for is highly radical 50's style kustoms and paint work but not as much for his hotrods. Well he has been busy the last 3 months or so. His new project will be on the road in the next couple weeks. It is a 28 Dodge 4 Door sedan. The amount of Metal work done by hand is INCREDABLE which includes a chop, channel and custom frame. The bomber style interior was formed all with what he calls his "English knee". He is a very talened fabricator and builder. look for his new creation at the first Wood Fire car show this year, for all you who are too far away heres a few pictures, check it out.

Larrys moving to a shop this summer so watch out for Side Show Kustoms, Ill keep you updated!!

i love it. thanks for adding such a great album of pics.

gotta love when the cars so slammed and chopped that it makes the guy standing next to it look like a giant.... like Paul Bunyan.

that's what i was thinking. kinda takes the hot out of hotrod if you have to crawl over every crack in the road. appears more ratrod than hotrod.

I dunno man...back in the 30's, instead of channeling the cars, they just made the people bigger to get the same look. Here's Robert Wadlow at 8'11 and 495 pounds. I guess if you are only 6'9 or whatever Larry is, this is what you have to do to a car to feel big.

Just kidding. He's a ruler and that is bad ass.

i didnt say that being an inch off the ground was a bad thing...i think it PUTS the hot in hot rod.

I love that thing! Wild indeed! This is very similar to what I have in store for my many-door sedan. Do you have anymore pics of the chop, section and channel progression? Looks great!
