I got a new 18 foot car hauler and first thing I used it for was a big load of Model A parts. I added full size sheets of plywood because I wanted to get as much as possible on this load. First picture is the back showing a LOT of wheels. Mostly model A, 16, 17" Ford. There are some others too. I flipped a front seat over to help hold the wheels on. The next shot shows fenders, splash panels, steering columns. Last shot shows a few hoods, and radiators.

Also got a 34 truck radiator shell thats rotted off on the bottom. Cool! Now I want worry about modifying it to fit my chopped and channeled coupe.
There is about 20 Model A flywheels on that trailer. They weigh about 53 pounds each! I gotta go back and get more including enough Model A oil pans to fill up the back of a pickup truck and more wheels.

Dont believe what the magazines tell you. There are many ol cars out there and there is tons of parts for them. Tons is the best way to describe the parts I am getting. I have hauled about 15 trailer loads so far. And thats a 6' by 14' trailer that is severely overloaded. And this is just one purchase. I find a lot of new parts even though most of it is used parts

I just found out where all the free and cheap Model A parts ended up around here. Seems the local Model A club has a huge polebarn full of free-to-members spare parts.

A lot of people ask that. I tell'em if you want a Model A, get one and drive it every day. Total strangers will come up to you and tell you where there are cars and parts. One guy told me about a Model A engine in a barn. We went to visit the owner and found a complete working grist mill powered by a Model A engine
