You will have no problem finding me Hawaiian shirt, fake beard, straw hat, large gut and tinnis shoes with flames.
Wife and I will be there bright and early both days. It's the one year anniversary of getting our roadster on the road!

Well its a hell of drive from Escondido but I think I will make it this year. Is the swap meet part of the show any good?
I'll be driving over from Phoenix in my AV8. I'm traveling with the Southwest Street Rod Club. A good friend from cape cod is a member and asked me to travel with them. We're leaving Phoenix Thursday AM early.
I will be there friday when the gates open junkyard rules tho no open toed sandals allowed in swap meet HAHA got ya Ken
The Merc is takin' the back burner for awhile. I took a new job a year ago and have to drive over 50 mi each way to the office...by the time I get home I'm ready for dinner and bed! I did get the rear ShockWave mounts fabricated and hopefully will get the body off the origianl frame and dropped onto the new chassis soon. Having the car all on only one side of the garage will give me a lot more room. I'll post some new pics soon...
Damn Gregg, what's this "Austin, TX" on your profile? Did you guys really take the plunge? Mona was just askin' about you guys and wondering why there wasn't a HAMB get-together at you place this year. I even stopped by the house a couple of weeks ago but nobody was home. Hell I was just in Austin a couple of weeks ago (out at the Ft Hood Army base) I coulda stopped by. Drop me a line when you get a chance...
I was planning on going down but can't now...If anyone notices a 32 Steel Roadster or chopped coupe with a "for sale" sign on it and is able to jot the phone number for me, I'd be greatful. Looking for a 40-50 era "look" but want a completed car that's well build, flathead or vintage V8 ok, just no Boyd type cars. I put a thread in the "Wanted "section as well. THANK YOU!
I'll be there, with my buddy from Idaho. Don't expect too much from the so called swap meet, it's been a dissapointment in years past.
WHY WAIT......??? Lets go ahead and complain how sorry the swap meet was........the food was overpriced.......all the Billet mobiles got the trophies and it is a JimA and Kirk scheme to get lots of money money for GG...... It's a business..... and if you don't like it......stay home and spare the rest of US.......the drama and grief After every GG event ......That's about ALL that you hear......
