Hot Rods HENRY J Headlight Bezels: Surely they didn't make them just for HJ's

I used a set that were hanging on my buddys garage wall. He was "pretty sure" they were '49 Chevy.

So far the ONLY answer is/was
They are the same as 47-52 Kaiser and 47-51 Frazer.

 

49-52 Chevy car & 47-54 Chevy p.u. are the same

 

I've got a 50 Pontiac and can tell you that they are not exactly round - the Pontiacs were slightly oval - that said I'd guess that the 49 - 52 chevy rims would fit - and there's lots of repro ones out there if you can't find originals.

 

Update: A buddy recently did a 51 Chevy Pickup and had the old bezels. They are pretty damned close. They are slightly deeper but probably not noticeable. Now I have to see how the stock clips worked vs the Chevy and how the gasket would work. If these work out they'll be the hot lick because repros are available in stainless.

 

By the way, I'm still waiting on approval to get on the Kaiser Frazier site.
