No George. I took it a guy that has a flow bench and talked with him a bet and he said he could help it but wouldn't say how much it would cost and just had the feeling that I was not going to be happy when he was done.

This is what I plan to run on my olds. But I need to blast it and polish it up, and restore the carbs. I have some really neat cast eelco throttle linkage arms for this too.

I also have a weiand 2x4, and a drag star, the 2x4 may have a slight performance edge over this, but I think it will be very close, and this has the edge in cool factor. I don't think I have enough motor to make the drag star work really well.

A wise decision, the skirted boosters in those carbs suck ass...

I wanted a Dominator for my street roadster for no other reason than "they are the baddest look'n Holley ever produced", I was advised not to do so.

Oh no, don't get me wrong, dominators are great, I love them, and have run a bunch of them on street strip bb's. It's the skirted booster design specific to the 750 dominator that sucks ass. I particularly like working with the 2 circuit soft linkage 1050's. Add a power valve to the front side and restrict the ifr's down to a reasonable size, and they work REALLY nice. Really responsive booster design too.

George does that carb have that style booster in it? Hard to tell in the picture.
I have one that does and was told it is a 1050 if theses booster were swapped out for the 1050 booster.

I can't see in the photo it's too dark. I am just assuming because that's what 750 dominators came with, I could be wrong. Lots of guys do swap them for the standard dominator boosters, then the carb works fine, which makes sense because, like you say, other than calibration, the only difference between the 750 and the 1050 is the skirted booster. Annular boosters work really nice in a dominator as well.

The idea of that carb makes sense.
Think most people didn't like them because they didn't have the bog just as the secondaries opened that most people think means that there 4 barrel carb is working good.

He had the name on the door briefly, I don't know if he actually ran them in competition or not, I am not sure.

  27. The Predators used a fuel spray bar, and was told liked open plenum like a tunnel ram, I think that is why a lot of blower guys years ago liked them.
