I found this pile-o-parts in a Colorado yard after a client died. He and I were kindred souls: guys who are interested in everything with wheels, can't get enough of 'em, and never seem to finish projects.

I loosely set the truck parts in their proper places to make this tempting project that provides nearly all the parts of a 1941 Plymouth pickup. I sold it on ebay to a Florida buyer. I dig that patina! The only parts missing were the tailgate and bed floor.

The same yard was full of a bunch of cool, but OT cars, campers and a motorhome. None had been driven or moved for over fifteen years, when the owner's health started to deteriorate. I managed to get them all running and driving except the truck, and all of them sold.

It's a tough week at the office when a lawyer is forced to get his hands dirty playing with old tin! ;)

Ugg, been a OT year this year, mostly 60's muscle cars (3 Mustang fastbacks, 67 Camaro, 66 Nova and a 68 C10. I did manage to almost finish a 39 Ford Standard Tudor and work a little on my 41 Ford pickup. Looked at the 32 Vicky a lot but that's all I did to it. Gotta finish it this year!

Traded my roadster for the coupe, then traded my son the coupe for his corvette, then traded the corvette for a 32 ford sedan. My son and I are both happy with the outcome!! 2015-06-18 13.30.00.jpg 2016-03-09 12.15.03.jpg 2016-05-22 11.20.57.jpg 2016-06-16 17.50.36.jpg

  22. 34drop2.jpg Thrashed on the chassis for my 34 ford coupe. Made a steering column and shaft from a 40 column to fit my 40 Buick steering wheel and made a column drop.....welded up a buncha holes in the frame.
Sent my rusty old Lloyd 2 door down the road because it was a distraction away from my coupe. Scrapped a whole bunch of parts that didn't sell at the swap meets...more distractions.

Bought a '39 Ford cab at Hershey to go with the '38 Deluxe nose. Not much progress on the Roadster or Steelback, but it was a great year. Bob DSCF5752.JPG

37Kid - In recent years, the 36-38 Fords have really caught my eye. Each has it's little nuances to make them unique. But the '37 front end is my fav. The '38 nose you have there looks solid.

Shortly thereafter I picked up this '49 Styleline Deluxe, which I'll work on over the Winter, and hopefully have ready for Sale in early Summer.

Pretty slow year on all of your questions, did not sell anything, bought some parts, just worked on a what I have and enjoyed the hobby, show's, cruise's, just went for a ride many times, have some plans/ideas for next year, we'll see what happens.

Bought a '56 Chevy straight axle project.
Parted out an O/T Malibu and sold the shell.
Going to save a '57 Chevy 150 that was written off as parts car only and put it on the straight axle frame with leftover parts from the Malibu.
Sold the '56 Chevy shell to my Dad, he is going to put it back on a stock frame and build a street car.
