I plan on attending the drags for my first time in 2017. Not racing, but I will bring one of my hotrods for the show.

Are there recommended hotels near by? If I missed the info buried in the thread, then I apologize.

Heard great things about this event for a while, looking forward to it.

I sent ya a PM on hotels, and camping is available at the track for a small fee.

Merry Christmas to me lol. My daughter and I managed to get a whole bunch of work done between last night and today we pulled the broken motor out and set the new power plant in it to build motor mounts and all the necessary brackets and such it's amazing how many little details need to be addressed just to change a fuel system and blower size anyhow I hope everyone has a great holiday

Uh oh.....Between James' extra large economy size 460" W motor,Norb's "I just freshened it up a little and changed the spark plugs",and Jackson's Hilborn 4-port injected,6-71 blown "mystery" motor (I think he's got something reeeeeally sneaky up his sleeve),life at the Meltdown just got a lot tougher for the rest of us.

I'm gonna do my best to give em all a run for their money though....;)

    Can't wait for July!:)

    Scott
