Well we got the front end suspension hung and got the body tacked up into place where we would like it to be. There will be hardly any quarter panels left once we cut them out for the rear tires. We will be starting on the cage tomorrow hopefully. Ryan and I couldn't stop are tradition of sitting in the car as soon as it is possible to do so. Hope you like the build so far and thanks for looking! IMG_2812.jpg IMG_4198.jpg IMG_4200.jpg IMG_4201.jpg IMG_1480.jpg

Remember... it is the Hot Rodder's code that every time you sit in the unfinished project with the steering wheel in your hand you must make "Vroom Vroom" noises... but I guess I need not remind you folks of that.

This thing is seriously cool !!

FYI..Front spring should not match the angle of the axle but it should match the angle of the radius rods..Visualize as the axle moves the spring as mounted will have to flex side ways..Just saying..

You should be able to come in under 2000 LBs as long as you stay away from heavy engines. My brother's Morris came in at 2150 all finished with 2"X4" .125" box tubing frame and a small block with powerglide. Scotty\'s morris on 6th street..JPG

Lexan windows, including the windshield will help keep the weight down too.

49 or 50 I think and no it won't but the next owner could make it street legal if they wanted.

Put wings on it and it will fly! It's sounding like it's going to be a handful circa the winged express.
