Question? Has anyone used a piano hinge on the top of a Model A closed car windshield frame instead of the one piece OEM hinge? Thanks and Merry Christmas!
The correct hinge is like $20 repro in aluminum isn't it? Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I built the whole windshield frame for my " A " hotrod and I used a stainless piano hinge like you pictured, it worked just fine and it was tucked up far enough under the visor so there weren't any leaks or whistles. 16 ga. 308 stainless hammer formed around square steel bar stock, took awhile to sand and polish. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
