    Question?
Has anyone used a piano hinge on the top of a Model A closed car windshield frame instead of the one piece OEM hinge?

    Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I think it would tend to leak or whistle.

I built the whole windshield frame for my " A " hotrod and I used a stainless piano hinge like you pictured, it worked just fine and it was tucked up far enough under the visor so there weren't any leaks or whistles.[IMG]

Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app getting the screws in upside down was a bitch though !

    Hey, Bruce!
What did you make your frame out of?

16 ga. 308 stainless hammer formed around square steel bar stock, took awhile to sand and polish.
