Hey guys, I'm looking for hood latches for a '47-55 Chevy or GMC COE, I'm working on a '54 but I think all the latches are the same for the AD body style.
    Thanks,
    Rob

Hey guys Im looking for a early Ford COE cab, this is for a project in little New Zealand - so it gonna be shipped overseas.

Im low on budget - and the dollar conversion between NZ and America isn't pretty either - but Im also realistic... I dont mind a bit of rust - I dont care if the floors are gone {as Im going to replace them anyway} I dont mind missing gl***, Im not looking for a show truck - this thing is gonna get a full rebuild regardless of condition.

    Any thing out there?

If I had it to do again, I would seriously consider looking in the Southwest US for a cab. The New England cab that I have was very rough. I suspect West Coast guys would have considered it parts only. I've been slowly working on it.. The SW climate lends itself to keeping sheet metal in decent shape. In New England and many northern states SALT is used on the roads and not friendly to steel.

That said.... How early? 38-40 Oval Grills are probably the most rare followed by 41-47 which is the same body with a slat grill (mine's a 41)... There seem to be a fair supply of the 48-52 body style as well as the 53 and up. I think it really depends on what you like.

Dooohhhhh, I just tossed em in a bin tonight, about an hour before your post, if you really think they are worth it, I will go pull them out.

No worries.....I didn't want them myself, just hate to see old parts get tossed. Somebody restoring one would love to have them. That's where my OE seat went, I gave it away

I have a 1946 dodge coe that we mounted on a 2005 chevy van ch***is. Has the van Ls motor and trans mounted behind cab. No ***le and needs a hood. As is 7k. I can make a hood for you 8k running and wired 10k. Of course we can do a full build for you to. And i know...it's not a dodge in a dodge.

Anybody have an OEM radiator cap for a 39/40 early 41 Chevy COE? If you have one and do not want to sell it, please take pix of it and send it to me as I do not really know for sure what it is supposed to look like.
