I fabricated a sheetmetal unit to attch to the botton of the model A gas tank. But in all honesty it wasn't worth it I can't really hear it after about 40 too much wind noise from the flat windshield I guess.

I have the stock radio in the dash, and it works. But also installed a cd player in the golve box for those long road trips (rarley use it though).

My Dad put a cassette deck in the coupe back when he had it. It has 4 speakers and an amp, and sounds better than the stereos in any of my other cars. I never listen to it, though. There is so much wrong with the car that I am afraid the radio will cover up the sound of important breaking.

The car still has the radio controls mounted in the dash, but the box itself is long gone from under the dash. Dad had the cable controls rigged up for years to a modern shaft style FM stereo hidden under the dash. That was really cool to use the original controls to operate an FM stereo, but you could only turn it off and on, adjust the volume, and tune it.

This is kinda cool (I saw it on e(vil)Bay). I'm not sure if it's custom or comes in "kit form"...

I've got one but its hidden. They can be helpful when traveling and with the satillite I can listen to the Napcar racing if I'm stopped somewhere. With that justification though let me say that I would never have one on my Harley.

I have enough trouble getting the car ready in time for VLV! Who has time to put in a radio! I finally decided to wire my headlights!

In all seriousness, I could not hear a radio in my car if it was running.

I do like the idea of listening to the XM radio when parked. You have a choice of 40's, 50's, and another station with Wolfman Jack as the DJ sometimes. Pretty cool for drinking shakes (or BYOB) and hanging out with the ladies. Now if I can just get the time, and hide the XM antenna, radio ... or maybe a makeshift radio that looks like one from a 50's living room, powered by 12V and with XM inside.

Things that make you go hmmmm....

No radio here, however, i do have 2 old drive in speakers sitting in the back for effect. I'm running open headers and an open roof, radio would be pointless.

Im puttin one in.. trying to figure out how to hide it.. I want loud..clear...so I can jam Clutch, Fu Manchu...all the classics...:D

besides ... if I wanna hear my exhaust.. I'll just turn the damn radio down. I need tunes to drive..

MP3 player would be nice.. I've even considered a mini ITX based unit under the seat or something so I can put the WHOLE damn collection in the car..all 200gigs worth...maybe...that aint super cheap...to say the least..mp3 capable cd player might work just as well..unless I plan a suuper long trip.. I wouldnt ever need more than that..

iPod, amp and 2 6x9s. It was great for the trip to the Roundup. We didn't listen to it all the time, but there were times driving late at night where it was worth every penny and all the time involved. I just threw it together the night before we left. Now I plan to reroute all the wires, hide them and the speakers too.
