Technical 54 dodge pickup rear end

    my factory rear end its done...i read you can use a 8.8 91-01 ford explorer rear end..it has the same bolt pattern 5x4.5...is this correct...thanks

    Yes. It is a touch on the narrow side, my son had to order wheels with special backspacing to clear the inside body on his 57 Dodge wagon, you might be OK with a truck. You can get a drive shaft yoke that will match the small Mopar U joint as well. I'll have to ask my son where be bought it from, wasn't expensive, Think maybe Denny's Driveshaft, or something like that. Gene

    That was a problem awhile back for folks with gmail accounts.
