I've been promising to send pics of Faye in her current state (after lowering, new hubcaps, and new engine) Here she is... doesn't she sit nice?
Looks great! Two thumbs up. Very nice wiring job, by the way. Nice and neat. Hubcaps look swell and the engine is great! Stance looks good too, by the way. Tucker
Ah Stace that's great! Must be a thrilling experience to actually drive her down the road...........can you see my jealous face?
Thanks! It was a first time ever wiring anything, let alone a car. My Dad started me off right by insisting I do it his way... hehehe Stacey
Looks great! Can you tell me a few details such as what ****** you are using? Did you need to replace the diff? What brand/company engine coversion kit did you use? Did you need to get a new radiator? Also what year is she? Thanks a million! Adam F
Faye has never looked better! Great job, and congratulations to you & her as you both enjoy MANY happy miles together !
so how many times have those fenders been removed from the car now?... it's a good feeling to have it all behind you, huh?
It's a 327 engine (66 impala) and a 350 turbo. We didn't use any engine comversion kit, the mustang 2 front end we installed eliminated the steering clearance issues and other things common with this particular swap. The radiator is new, but it's a stock radiator. She is a 51 Chevy Styleline Deluxe. Stacey
sharp! really sits nice. i recently bought a 52 2dr sedan, but its waiting its turn behind the 53....and the 58....gonna be a long wait.
Looks great! But then I'm a bit partial to wide-hipped Chevys all hunkered down in the front! What size/kind of tires you running? They look great!
You're car is really looking sharp! The engine bay looks great and the car "sets" perfect. You've probably posted this before but how did you put the mustang II in it? Did you buy a frame stub from someone or adapt something else to it. Cool car, thanks Stafford
Just repeating what's already been said. You did a fantastic job. Now....get out there and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
wow!! nice clean job.. that little sled looks excellent!!! oh by the way if you havnt already, bend all the clips out a little bit on those lancers,, they like to try and p*** you on the hiway!! trust me...
Wow, that is seriously clean. I love it. I realize the point here is more "custom" than "hot rod" but can you imagine what a sleeper this would have been in about 1964?
Nice, very nice, but the bent eight under the hood makes me sad, kinda. But I'll be honest with you, I'd put V8 in mine next time.
