I had a t-shirt with this on it in 71-72 while stationed at Tan Son Nhut AFB in Saigon. Worn on base only.

We're not here for a history lesson though. What we're here for - at least for me - is just a simple and maybe not so simple little trip back in time." C9 Prologue The Girl on the Rincon.

    Hello,
Nothing gets by our 11 year old granddaughter. She is sharp as a tack and going on 30. Whoa....
But, she has an eye for design and lets you know it. She is not very mechanical, and for the happiness of my wife, she is very into "girly" stuff. She does ballet, hip hop dances, computers, loves to read and write...yes!
One thing she and her friends like is my favorite car shirt: a black Smokers, Inc. shirt. Actually my favorite (Greeves) t-shirt bit the dust in the many purges from my wife. If it is torn, holy (not that kind) and worn out, then it is cut up and used as cleaning rags for granite/stainless steel.
Anyway, my granddaughter said that the Smokers black t-shirt looks good on me. She wanted to know more about it. She asked if I was pro-smoking...After she saw the back and I explained the history of the shirt, then she said that is her favorite shirt for me. A non mechanical, non automotive pre-teen liking a Smokers, Inc shirt? Where is this new generation going?

The T-shirt came with an excellent high crew neck and it became number 1 in the daily rotation of shirts.

loved this thread, but for the deleted pictures,
would have been only 9 pages instead of 14.

ScaryLarry had this made from a photo my son took. His shirts and posters for the Jalopy Showdown and the Jalopy Showdown Drags events are always fantastic.

This one?.......from 2015, the Len Smith tribute tee. I didn't buy one in 2016 'cause I was disappointed in the quality of the 2015 tee. 20170305_120615.jpg

That's a good one but I really liked the design of 2016.
I see you just posted it. Great idea and art work. I never noticed the quality of the shirt, I haven't worn it yet.

Kinda wish I had bought one now since we lost Tommy. Would be a nice one to frame as a tribute.
