Tom, not yet. Later this fall I will be pulling the body back off and work on all finish work on the ch***is. After that hopefully final ***embly and on the road this coming spring.

[IMG]The Fiat had gone back to the body shop for a few weeks to finish up some touch ups and to be wet sanded and buffed. Nice and shiny now. Now the body will come off and on to finishing up the ch***is.

Great to hear! It'll keep you busy over the winter and give you something to look forward for spring. Looking forward to the updates!

Just to take it for a short drive is the goal. Then take small steps to make sure everything is working properly and safe.

It doesn't look like much but there is Alot of work getting the body off and making changes to a couple things on the ch***is. Thought you would enjoy a quick little update.

Ya, I know it seems like I have gone backwards but it needed to be done. There are areas that I couldn't work on with the body on it. Have to build a ****** tunnel, install new gas pedal setup (the one I had was not comfortable in the small confines of the drivers compartment.) I am going to try a pedal that pushes straight down. It will hopefully put less stress on my leg and ankle and be more comfortable. Many other small tasks like window net, harnesses, and some finish welding that I couldn't get to with the body on it.

Just picked up my headers for the Fiat after having them ceramic coated. It's awesome to see them finally finished. Gonna look cool when the nose tips forward. These will stand out real nice.[IMG][IMG]

[IMG] was given this nice window net for Christmas, so I skipped any further holiday festivities and got it installed.

Everything is off and I am ready to flip the ch***is over to touch up some welds on the bottom side, because I ****s at welding upside down. Lol seat belt tabs are welded in. A little more ch***is time and then it is off to paint.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Looking good! Are you going to check it on a frame table when all welding is done?

Checked so far with degree Guage and sitting on floor all corners register 0 degrees. So initially I feel it is very close.

Yes, that is the goal. Finish ch***is, start putting it back together and get it running again. Then hopefully learn how to drive it and if it goes straight, take it out to play a little.
