Sorry Robber I should have pasted the link to @HEMI32's memorial thread and have since. So many icons of the hobby leaving us...it is life...we will remember them along with their contributions to Hotrod/Custom

Thanks for reaching out Stogy. We remember those that we hold dear to our hearts because of the kindness they showed us. They nurtured... they mentored. I (and countless others) know much of what I know about hotrods, because of Pete. Thank you Pete! This is part of life... there are good times and bad times and in the end, hopefully there were more good than bad. Viva la hotrods and customs! Cheers/gears and Happy New Year! robber :)

IMG_5009.JPG Old one but have a few prints left so I dug for it to take a photo.

Feels appropriate today and for the art show. I can honestly say that growing up I can't recall a hot rod garage with out the kid on the wall in some form. I always saw it as inspiration. RIP Pete.

Hi Mike. Never been to the Forney, though I have known about it for many years... I probably should do that. This shot ("Gl*** Act") is a hand cut crystal piece on a '28 Isotta Fraschini (Tipo 8A S LeBaron Boattail Roadster) belonging to novel author and undersea explorer Clive Cussler. The 7.4L inline 8 with 3 speed manual could do 110 mph. Dang fast for 1928! :) Thanks for asking...robber

Just heard about Pete’s p***ing. He was a true legend, an inovator and an inspiration. I know he will be greatly missed.

Godspeed Mr. Pete Chapuoris, thanks for giving the hobby all ya had.
