Found the thread on the one guy who built a floor shifter for the Plymouth r10 or earlier Chrysler overdrive that was column shift moving it to floor shift

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/anyone-build-there-own-floor-shifter.660223/

He wanted $625 for a kit which I totally understand with the number of pieces he has. I applaud anyone doing anything to solve a problem so not trying to insult anyone, but I have to think there are simplier ways to get the job done than might be most cost effective.

a few pictures, the 1st two from the thread above.

It's a rough 55°F here. And I took my inline out for a bashing tonight.... I couldn't resist... Forgive me.... LOL

After moving to SoCal, I can honestly say that I don't miss the cold. BUT, next week I will be taking my family back to visit grandma... Brrrr. On Saturday, I will be driving in the snow myself.

Your truck is very nice, and the engine looks fantastic!

IMG_5084.jpg I've still done nothing with this car. I've got an Edmunds head, Edmunds tripower, two ducoils, and another homemade tripower for it. Both tripowers have carbs. One of you guys should buy this thing. :)

I like it, I can travel to pick it up... BUT, I have to address the tax man first. Please keep me in the loop.

Thanks for this thread! I've come back reading it time and time again as I've subscribed to it. I just worked through Tim and George to have a pair of carbs set up on my Edmunds intake for my '55 Savoy. Really looking forward to getting them back and getting the old girl fired up.

I would have thought I'd posted on this thread already, but apparently not.

I'm rocking a 218 with the Edmunds ensemble and custom headers:

I'll be ordering my triple with carb, linkage, and dual exhaust from Tima nd George soon for my 251 Chrysler flathead. I already have an Edmunds aluminum head and a T5 transmission with adapter kit.

I have ordered a AOK triple myself! Please send me a PM, I would like to see how your project turns out. I will have to wait until the tax season is over, then I will be going full speed again.

This was mine until about a month ago.
0.030 over 230, Edgy head, Offy intake, Carter Webbers, cast iron headers, HEI and an R10 OD. Ran great with the parts right out of the box and even better with a little tinkering. Was a big upgrade over the original 218 with all the same parts except the head.

Mine were side by side until just after the transmission then split with a crossover tube and run out either side of the gas tank in the back.

    This was the original 218
