:D Ok fellas, I waited till just about NOON on Thursday this week.

Can you believe its been a week already!?!?!?!?

I'm going to start off this week with a big fat pile of SPAM.

First up is my ol pal RATSTER: http://http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZratster_designsQQhtZ-1

He's got some super cool stuff on the bay right now. Get in there and support a true hot rod hero. Ratster kicks ass!

Next up a neat piece from the Moldy one, MOLDY MARVIN:
    http://http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6617690174&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3APIC&rd=1

Both very cool artists, Fellas, I'm posting this stuff with a plea for support. Artists many times get shafted when it comes to getting paid for their talent. Right now on ebay there is a TON of great artwork.....much of it going cheap. Too cheap....

I'm asking for you to take a stroll around and check out some of the great art on there. Both of the above links are HAMBers and NEITHER of them asked me to post those links. Please support them and buy some killer artwork.

EDIT: you know I posted some links to my stuff, but I just feel uncomfortable using the ART show in this way. I'll leave the above links though, as I think those artists deserve some recognition and some airtime.....and DAMN, the art is priced right....too right.

    SORRY.

Another piece. This one I'm pretty proud of....It is small, but I think its some of my best work.

This one is on a teeeny stretched canvas 3" X 5".

It was really fun to make and I can't wait till I have some free time to make some more.

Excellent start today Tingy! Man, heavy hitters postin' right outta the box! Here's a literal monster I finished up a few days back that features my buddy Repo's handsome mug...this is for the front of his garage so it measures about 72" across, and features my wacky practice of floating pieces (the "Texas", the head and fists are floated above the surface...)

*die cut 3/8" mdo (wood) fancy stuff.
*airbrushed and hand brushed with good ol one shot.

anyway, wish me luck, headed to Austin to shake the hands and gab with ARTISTIC GREATNESS....too many to list. Tingy, when you comin' to Austin?

Here's a before and after of a '62 that I worked up for Jim Ries. Hard to tell from the pic but the scallops and roof would have a heavy silver flake.

**hoping to not sound like a dick-head**

I think an unwritten rule for posting art should be to tell us how you did it.

One of my favorite things to do when I am at an art show it to read the print. I like to imagine the process involved in making the piece. Media? Size? How you started the piece (process)....

    Maybe I'm in the minority.....

    Too tired can't function.

Not much to show today. Here's the back of a shirt I'm doing. Showed the front a couple weeks ago. Meeting next week with a client regarding designing 14 snowboards. Going to attempt to tackle it after hours with 2 friends on top of everything else I've got going. Sleep is overrated.....or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

That second pic of the wagon: That wouldn't happen to be the William French Company of Boston Massachusetts would it? I'm curious because I striped a landaulet made by them circa 1859 and the workmanship was absolutely beautiful!

Very very cool stuff going on here this week!

Here is some more of the ebay tour right now......

Here is some of TOYGHOUL'S art! (he DID NOT ask me to post a link either).

I'm doing this because there are LOTS of really cool pieces of artwork for sale on ebay at any given moment.

I'm trying to make EVERYONE here an art collector.

    Anyhow, that LINK: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtoyghoulQQhtZ-1

This piece is especially cool....and is definitely priced right!

  29. Zumo, I don't wanna come across rude, nor offend, but it's merely a critique of sorts (I'm not a graphic designer, but I'm surrounded by the bastards....).....that banner is REALLY hard to read/decifer. The background just seems too busy. The "Hot Rod Designs" font is a little ackward against the font above and I also find the perspective on the wheel odd. I think it would be better suited front on. Hope that's a critique that helps....not subdues!

No no. It's cool. I am just so used to looking at the logo that I can tell what it is. I may remove the background on it before it is all said and done. The wheel was drawn from an actual pic of a wheel. I wanted it that way because that mag doesn't look good to me straght on. Thanks for the critique.

By the by here is some photoshoppin'
