Sorry guys, but I have another seatbelt question. As far as 3 point belts go, the retractable feature has nothing to do with safety. Is that correct?

Does anyone know of a 3 point belt with a nice chrome buckle?

I believe Rod Doors has started selling seat belts with simple chrome latches. If I remember right they have two and three point belts, and both can be had with regular lap belts or retractable. Hope this might help!

I always just call simpson, tell them what length I need, and have them custom make them. It only takes a week or so and the looks (for a lap belt anyway) are great...

Rod Doors has them with aircraft style latches for :
    $125 retractable
    $60 non retractable.

They are 138 inches long, I guess thats long enough?

  6. Its the only way to go. I got a set in the shed I had made to go in my old coupe project, they'll fit something perfect someday.:D

The retractable part has the "inertia reel", which is what lets you move around (mess with the radio, reach over and unlock the p*** door, etc.) yet it "locks up" in the event of an accident.
