I have a set of 14x7 reverse supremes on my car and one of them has a leak in it. I put the rim in a bucket of water and found that the leak was coming from the middle of one of the spokes. So I packed up the rim and tire and drove to Stockton wheel last week to see if they could repair it. They said it can't be fixed, but I'm skeptical. WTF!! I checked on getting a new one but they said everyone has them on backorder. :( And I need one for VIVA comeing up. So my question is does anyone have any tips or seggestions on how I could fix it, or anyone got an extra wheel layin around they want to get rid of?

I spent several hours one day trying to fix a "pin hole" in an alumium mag, never got the job done. You might be able to get away with a bit of two part epoxy inside the wheel, but I suspect your best option is installing a tube in the tire/wheel. Gene

Sci flyers were doin the same thing (old radir knock offs)

we broke the tire down, slathered on some black sisicone, presto! no more leaks!

just be sure to have it re-balanced afterwards.:D

Scuff it up at the leaking point and JB weld it, then forget it.

If I can't get a replacement in time then I'll try the scilicone route or just tube it. I have a standard offset astro on for now but not the same without the reverse.
Alex let me know what you find out.

if it was aluminum you can have it shotpeened to stop any leaks, or use a small peen hammer, i have a buddy who worked at a chevy dealer in the 80's who had to break down corvette wheels and peen the pinholes on the insides....

If you have a leak in the rim shell odds are it is cracked or cracking. I would replace it not try to repair it. Cracking was quite common with early Supremes and still is with some of the bogus cheap copies claiming to be Supremes. Be careful after it is you safety when it comes to wheels. Check starwheel.com as they sell Supremes.

I haven't had a chance to take the wheel off and inspect the rim yet. I'm thinking I might be able to repair it and keep it for a spare at least.

i think i would spray a nice, even coat of rubberized undercoating all around the inside of the rim. a friend used mar-gl*** on a particularly stubborn leak on 2-piece ET...
