History Can anyone identify this valve cap

    I'm looking for help identifying and finding a set of these particular valve caps, see photo. I recall they were one piece cap and skirt, made of chrome plated plastic and may have come in different lengths. Possibly Cal Custom or another manufacturer? This photo is from 1963. Thanks for any help in identifying these or leading me to a source. 01-03-17, Valve cap.jpg

  3. I think they are old Cal Custom ones. I have some of those I keep around. They like to disappear if you park unattended. Had a set walk away at the old Fremont drag strip. Really pissed me off. I think some of mine are still in the original package. If I remember I can check to see who made them.

  7. Not the same thing mgtstumpy. Those are covers that go over the rubber valve stem and are held on by the hex cap.
