I need a 1947 Califonia motorcycle plate

yes i know this might not be the best place to ask! sorry Ryan!

but i am anyway as all the damn people with car plates have motorcycle plates too!!!

Do an eBay search for a few weeks, one will turn up. I built a complete 1937 Harley that way over a few years.

 

i have been, havent seen a 47 cal mc plate in a loooong time on there

 

I hear you. I've been looking for a 66 WA mc plate for a while too.

You might want to try posting a "Wanted" ad in the classifieds here, and also try posting a "wanted" ad over on the Jockeyjournal.

Have you tried the Pamona swapmeet? There's this vendor there that has hundreds of license plates. I know he has a few motorcycle plates.

 

Try Dave Hindman, I've got a couple of car sets from him....I think he also deals in motorcycle plates.

 

yes he does, ran into him at the last pomona swap. you need to go to the swap, there are a few guys selling there..........the only 2 guys i knew are out of the biz (retired and passed away ).
