9hrs of just straight welding. I don't have a legit welder that has heat pin point and control settings. I'm using a 30 year old 90 amp wire feed Flux core welder, that I re-wire often. I can't do a p*** longer than half an inch or else it'll warp. So ya, almost done.

Now the piss of the neighbors part. Grinding, it's hard to see cause I'm using a 24 grit disc. But after that I'll keep going all the way to a 120 flap disc. Then da it with 180. So far, it looks great

Pay off about to happen. Cut out bracing and shut the door! Excited

Well that's it for today, it's a Lil damp this week in so-cal. So I'll let this stuff fully dry. And sand tomorrow in the rain. Least I got a roof-ish out here. (Leaks in specific spots I work around lol).

Okay so. To go into a deeper reason why I've posted this thread, why it's Mr. Hayes, that's what I go by in person. You don't know me, but if I knew you. You'd like to go by mister as well.

I'm a stroke survivor, yes 25 years old. I had a stroke, 7 months into my truck driving career (cl*** a doubles, hazmat). It happend October of last year. I'm losing my job, my health care, lost my place to live. Wife went to her parents, I slept where ever I could, now I sleep on a couch.. live out of a bag. My licence is suspended cause I couldn't get all the cardiology and neurologist appointments done in the insane time frame California DOT. Gave me. I'm still waiting to get an event monitor (pace maker device to track my heart rate)...

This thread is dedicated to me not letting things get me down. Doing what I've always loved to do.if you need a hand and are willing to pay me here in so-cal. I'll go out of my way to do so... I can bring the little tools I've borrowed. If I don't get it done in a day, I'll sleep in my truck I don't care. Pm me.

So if you want to be negative towards me go right on ahead. I've had it worst. But! That doesn't get me down. I'll still be blowing up my thread with stuff I do car related. This isn't, but I needed to vent. Mr. Hayes.

Colaboritive Decision by customer n me, he's happy with the work. Wants me to go ahead and jam it and run. Hot rodz flat , it's like a velvet red. Not carnival red, more like a deep maroon with a pearl like look. Gotta find it. Or just paint the whole bottom of the car with the shaker can (I've gotten pro status lol no tiger stripes ever! ) since the primer sealer is damn close to the color of the car. Time will tell. So... after this I'll scuff the rest of the car and primer it. Then flip the car and do otherside. Might be able to get this thing done in 30 days by myself entirely. Back to Sanding.

Still got some tweeking to do. But first step towards the end is to get it all shot one color in a high build. I'll block and seal tomorrow. And move on to next task.

I overkilled this rocker, way to much detail. Now it makes the other side really look like **** lol. Gotta fix that next.
