Would like to see what Jimmy Jones style bubble skirts would look like on my 56 Chevy? A la Dave Jenkin's (rip) 57 Chevy.

 

Can someone eliminate the outer bumperets (shin bashers). And possibly the lower grill bar. Then if you want design how you think it should look. The front end is way to busy. 1953 Chrysler new yorker 2 door hard top.

I removed all of the bumperets and moved the bottom grill bar up to the center and added a 55 Chrysler New Yorker lower grill bar with park lights..

 

Can I just say to all the guys that play with the pics. Your help is very much appreciated by most of us on here. trouble is some of the ideas cause an I've got to build that mentality (you know who you are JamesD)

 

Hey fellas.. I need some help. I'm trying to convince my dad he needs to chop his 3w... I'll post 2 pics of his project... I would really appreciate if someone could help . You guys do a fantastic job.

Could I be a pain in the ass and ask for them a bit higher up on the rear fender and a bit flatter on the top. Like this 41.

 

Thanks. But can you get rid of the flaired out but on the bottom?

 

I think a slight angle chop (a little lower in the front) would look better. Somehow the front looks taller.

 

Here it is is with the concave section removed.

 

And while you got the torch out you might consider a reshaping of the rear roof line.

 

Can someone make the wheels red, and replace the hub-caps with spider-caps?

This Merc was the subject of a thread last week and I had thought with a few simple changes it could be great.

I would love to see this car with chrome bumpers replacing the rolled pans, side mirrors eliminated, wheelcovers in place of the wires, and maybe the headlight beaks trimmed off and replaced with a regular stainless headlight ring.

I'd try it myself but I'm not so good at importing items from other pictures.
