I would like to put a supercharger on a flathead six Chrysler 251 engine , I'm looking for anybody that has done this any intake ideas I have no problem manufacturing and welding together my own intake manifold I'm just looking for ideas and information. I am also open to any criticism or comments good or bad let me have it. FYI I am not doing this for performance reasons I just thought it would look cool . Not that one. Use a Judson or similar period correct. Even McCullochs or Paxton didn't come until later. What about this period correct item?

Dave Dozier ran a B&M blower on a Chrysler straight eight very successfully and he had a friend with a 4:71 on a six. But that is the limit of my knowledge on that. The eight is still running off and on at Bonneville in a Desoto Airflow

A bit off topic, but I remember seeing the mini superchargers advertised in rod mags in the late 50's. They look like they would act more like a restrictor plate than a supercharger. Would be interesting to know how many were actually sold

Never done a six but they were pretty popular on the little ranger 4s back in the '80s. I can't imagine that it would be much different. Scratch building and intake to fit your specific blower would be the easiest. Sheet metal and tubing is all it would take, I wouldn't get too caught up in runner length or the like if its just for wow factor, make it fit in the box.
