    The football player?

I was trying to get the heavy ***ed clark5sp and axle out of this 3ton truck so I could put a smaller axle and tires, cut the frame behind the cab so its easy to load on a trailer.
I was trying to unbolt everything so i could save random brackets bolts etc.
I screwd my self by not unbolting the clutch fork from the bearing.

Now the engine is hanging off the clutch fork and i cant get it out..
Got hit across the face with the jack handle, got grease and dirt in the eyes hammer fell from the bumper right onto my balls...

So i got POff and now im just tempted to torch all the brackets away.
    Who needs it right?
Torch the pedals and steering column..
Its a 3ton truck so the parts arent as rare.

I usually drill out rivets or stuck bolts..i use a sharp chisel.
But i try really hard to save brackets or parts..
This time,i just want to torch and worry about brackets later

Rolled a '50 Chevy on it's side in a buddy's pasture, propped up against an old mattress, in order to cut off the frame and floor pan braces, etc.

Used to roll '55-6 Chevy convertibles on their side to get the frames all time.
Sometimes the interiors would start on fire so we would drag them to a sandy spot until the fire was done.

I think the Fort Mac fire started with a hot wrench.

Many times. Last time was a 27,000 mile 51 ford tudor. Lost storage and dragged it to my kid's house and "dis***embled" it with a torch to get the nice quarters of it for my kid's car...flathead went to Mike Bishop's land speed racer...sold the trans at swap meet with part of the torched cross member still on it and the rest went to s****.

I had an AD truck cab for parts. The local code enforcement folks didn't like it sitting in my side yard. I used a saws all to cut it into small enough pieces to fit into my shed. It worked out pretty well since all I wanted it for was patch panels anyway.

Has to be a real pile before I get too wild. Over the years I've seen a lot of stuff ruined with a hot wrench. Stuff like good fenders torched through to get at a radio antenna and emblems cut out. If the part in the way is junk no problem.

As soon as I get time there's a trashed caddy limo awaiting a dismantling to retrieve the 425 engine. It's not my normal 472 retrieval but for the price I can't turn it down. IT'S FREE!

Right now im so tempted to torch the pivot ball for the clutch fork.
I tried bolting the transmission to the bellhousing so i can pull the engine out and the bellhousing+transmission apart, only to hit the back of my head with the steering wheel and my forehead right where my goose egg is.
I haven't pull the torch yet but I'm 1 beer away from doing it.

It's a great selling technique to have a car you don't give a **** about partly torched. Tried to get $500.00 for a driving Hurst Olds, nobody wanted it, but I did cut it up and cleared two grand. Bob
