So, I'm finally selling my 20-year project. Many folks are shocked by this, but fact it, I haven't been able to work on it as much as I'd like, and I've found a smoking deal on another car that's much further along.

So I need a downpayment for that - that's where the $5k comes in. It's exactly the amount I need. I'm not greedy, I'm just changing this car into the cash I need to buy the other.

I got it in the early 90s, and the rear end went bad. It's followed me through the years in a series of heated/cooled garages, but I haven't gotten a chance to do much. I started it every so often up until 3 or 4 years ago, when I swapped a replacement rear end in, and cut the brake lines.

When I parked it in the 90s, I had just put all new brakes, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and shoes on. The soft parts may need replaced as well as the rear brake hoses I cut, and after a hone they'll be good.

It has a factory-stock '64 429 and TH400 combo already swapped in. It needs the fuel line put back on (I just put a new fuel pump on), fluids, and plugs and she'll fire up (if the points don't need a quick file). I dropped the transmission and put a flexplate in that actually had all it's teeth during the time the rear end was swapped.

Sadly, this car will never be what I want, but I've found one that will be.

    That's where you come in.

I'm in KC. This car really wants to go home with you. Your $5k really wants to be in my pocket so I can get my new car.

    Let's make this happen, people.

It has rust in all the usual places, but they can all be repaired - even the quarters - but I'm keeping my Lincoln turbines (I have some stock wheels you can have).

I have the ugly pictures of those spots, too.

If you're in Omaha, I bought this from Sandy Taylor in 1992.

    3-day bump!

Surely someone is interested in a '60 Cadillac at this price - it's a killer deal!

    Friday bump! Buy me!

The car I was selling this to buy has sold. So I'm selling this to buy ANOTHER car... when I find it.
