I'm looking for someone to cut a windshield and back gl*** for my chopped 32 3 window fibergl*** coupe. I live need Daytona Beach and would like to have someone close by if possible. Thanks Don
check your telephone book yellow pages. with all the hot rods around Daytona there has to be some listed
Fibergl*** coupe, they just use plexigl*** windows. That's easy to cut with a jig saw. Or look up some streetrod shops near you, they specialize in gl*** cars. I bet there is even gl*** kits you can buy from like wescott body's and so forth. I'm sure there is someone close by to you as Daytona is a big city.
Also if you make a poster board copy of the windows a lot of hardware stores that cut gl*** will be able to do it for you. Here in California my local hardware store carriers automotive lament gl*** for flat car gl***. Even green gl*** too. Good luck
I don't think Plexigl*** or polycarbon is legal, I wish it was that stuff is cheep and I have a CNC router that I can cut it on. Thanks Don
I have called several auto gl*** and gl*** companies in the area and don't cut laminated gl***, Thanks Don
You need to make your own patterns. All gl*** cars are slightly different so there is no one size fits all. After you have the patterns there are tons of gl*** shops online that can cut and ship the gl*** to you.
I asked a FB buddy who has a shop outside of Daytona and he said he uses Jesse's Tri City Auto gl*** in Tavares quite a bit.
I can't seem to find Acme Windshield and gl*** in Daytona. The Yellow Pages listing shows a number which I will try in the morning. Thanks Rust Runner for the listing I did find the listing for Jesse's Tri City and will call them in the morning as well. and thanks Mr 48Chevy for that listing I'm down to just a couple things before getting the 32 registered and ***led. I have been working on it for a little over a year and have been able to drive it around the yard. Thanks for all the help Donald Clifton
