Last Sunday I was given a 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan by my grandfather(his first car), it has spent the last 50 years or so in a field on blocks. Its in bad shape but considering how long it's been there it could be much worse. I have a built 5.0l est. 390-415hp and a t-5 to go with it on a stand so... I'm thinking hotrod. Well hotrod eventually, for now something that can move under its own power down the road. I'm here looking for help finding parts as well as advice and know how. As for myself, I'm an experienced welder, machinist, mechanic, and fabricator. Not sure what else to say except just ask.
Welcome to the H.A.M.B. DO A SEARCH ON 40's and you will find a lot of information on builds. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Welcome. Where are you located? There is a huge aftermarket for most things for the '40 Ford. Just for fun, do a search for videos of Jerry Moreland's '40 Sedan. Trust me , you will enjoy it.
I'm in Oklahoma, checked out Jerry Morelands Sedan very nice. I've been searching for post on door repair. The driver side door on my car is very beat up. The lower part of the frame has rusted to nothing and the skin from the trim to the bottom will have to be replaced.
